Swifts

Best Actor Short Film
Swifts is about Bo, a homeless street musician navigating the winter streets of Stockholm, whose life is held together by rigid routines. Each morning, he shares buses and subways with strangers he silently observes. Among them is Angelo – a well-dressed man whose structured daily life mirrors Bo’s own.
When Angelo unexpectedly helps Bo through a ticket control in the subway, a fragile human connection is formed. The moment sparks an increasing fixation in Bo. He begins to map Angelo’s movements, follow his routines, and project meaning onto him, while his own situation deteriorates as he loses his temporary shelter.
When Angelo suddenly disappears from their shared routines, Bo is driven to a critical step: to seek him out. In Angelo’s home, Bo is confronted with the realization that their connection was never one-sided – Angelo, too, has been watching, listening, and responding in his own way.
