Fred, in his sixties, lives in a tiny apartment in the Marais district of Paris. Suffering from mental illness and extreme loneliness, he sets about recreating his childhood world by hunting for books and toys in flea markets.
At the same time, he develops a passion for the fallen angels of the 1970s, which leads him to spend months tracking the ghost of Jim Morrison, who died a few steps from his home.
