A screenwriter not only wants to write a new bestseller on a secluded property in the Lüneburg Heath but also wants to come to terms with her post-traumatic experiences in the process. However, the heathland idyll is deceptive, and a series of mysterious incidents soon make her doubt her sanity. It is only by facing the specters of her past that she manages to shed the victim role.
