Gaganachari is a sci-fi mockumentary that takes place in a dystopian future where civilization is rattled by the existing stranglehold of a hostile socio-political climate. The story focuses on the lives of three bachelors who reside in an apocalypse bunker whose lives get turned upside down when a visitor from a far-off planet enters their domicile.
The story progresses into a social commentary that projects an exaggerated version of India’s modern-day political scenario which is told through comical moments taking place through the individual perspectives of the characters mentioned above.
There is a discussion of bias, love, superstition and the unknown as this experimental feature film is presented in the format of a mockumentary.
