How does the legacy of a story really work? In 1945, Angelo, an Italian prisoner, builds a bike with a German kid, steals the bike, and flees Germany. In 1960, Moreno, observes a family of Germans coming to visit his father every summer, in their remote Italian village. In 2019, Ambra wants to fix a bike with her father. While doing so, she wonders: does regret remain in our genetic inheritance?
