Mika is trying to become an actress but struggles to find her place in the world regarding her gender expression and presentation. After a mistake by the casting agents gets her a callback audition, she tries to change herself to fit into the character she is expected to be. At a party she meets Aksel, who has the confidence she wishes for herself, and she asks him to teach her how to access it. She goes as far as stealing his clothes to literally embody him, which angers him and forces her to confront her difficulties in connecting to her real self. In the end, she realises that being her authentic self is what will make her succeed, so she goes into the audition with a newfound sense of confidence and ease.
