In a colorful, retro-futuristic version of 1950’s America, the picture-perfect Atom family is shaken by the arrival of Zelyna, their new alien governess. Though she appears almost completely human, her tiny antennae are enough to make Dad and Grandpa fear her. As Zelyna’s warmth, kindness, and intelligence begin to challenge the family’s assumptions, a government radio broadcast warns that aliens “do not think like us:, forcing the Atoms to choose between the propaganda they’ve always believed in and the person standing right in front of them.
