Sentimental – Trilogy

Best Cinematography
A young, lonely guy named O. is killing time, either playing guitar at home or loitering through the streets of a small Russian provincial town. He is constantly tormented by memories of his youth and longing.
At some point, he gets tired of this lifestyle, and he runs away from home to enjoy the spirit of freedom and nature in the countryside. O. spends the night in the field, washes in the river, warms himself by the fire.
Years pass and time leaves traces on O.’s face, but he continues to remember his past.
One day, O. stays in an old abandoned building. He remembers one year in his youth when he fell in love with a girl named V.
Over time, V. cooled down to O. and their paths parted. Everyone has started a new adult life. O. still kept remembering V. and came to the park where they used to walk.
One day he was sitting there crying in the pouring rain, but suddenly he saw her. V. came up to O., kissed him, and the rain stopped. V. took O. with her along the park alley. Suddenly O. realized that it was an illusion of desperation, and the rain did not stop.
O. Remembers that he never loved anyone before or since as much as V. He doesn’t know where she is now.
In the evening, O. leaves the abandoned ruins and goes into the forest. His wanderings continue.
