A man is holding a girl captive in his basement, chained to a wall. Her name is Alice, a mime he used to watch on stage as a spectator. She is forced to wear clown makeup, the same as a character from a movie her captor is obsessed with. He wants her to be that character and to play the trumpet for him, exactly like in that movie.
