Set in a small fishing village, Mick, a local trawlerman has to face his loneliness when the global pandemic reaches Ireland’s shores.
A call out of the blue that there is a positive case on the trawler forces Mick to isolate. Battling repressed demons, an irritable Mick struggles with lockdown boredom and a pesky next-door neighbor learning to play the tin whistle.
As the days morph into each other the gravity of the pandemic weighs heavily, but oblivious to Mick, who has taken to drowning out the outside world, the tin whistler improves. Mick suddenly realizes the cacophony through the walls has actually become beautiful music…
