Synopsis

Struggling small-town fisherman Rick McGovern (Dan Rutter) is desperate to escape the isolated monotony of his life spent chasing a living on the high seas by dawn and his rebellious teen daughter Shailene (Grace Wellfare) by dusk. Her wild nights spent hooking up with dashing American Brad (Josh Stevenson) do little to help things. But, when conflicts with Rick’s alcoholic boss Jimmy (Adam Gammage) leave him jobless and he learns of Shailene’s plans to move to the States with Brad, Rick’s world gets that much bleaker.
